Rick van Hoeven’s love for football started at a young age. Growing up, he was captivated by the magic of FC Barcelona, a club renowned for its beautiful style of play and rich history. His passion for the game led him to pursue a career in football, and his journey eventually brought him to the prestigious grounds of FC Barcelona.

Rick spent three transformative years working at FC Barcelona, where he honed his coaching skills and gained invaluable insights into the club’s renowned youth development philosophy. His time at Barcelona solidified his belief in the importance of nurturing young talent and developing players who excel both on and off the pitch.

Before his tenure at Barcelona, Rick also spent a year at PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands. This experience further enriched his understanding of football training and development, as he worked within one of Europe’s most respected football academies. The Dutch influence, known for its focus on technical proficiency and tactical intelligence, complemented Rick’s experience in Barcelona and shaped his coaching approach.
