The Champions Lab Tour 2024 was an exhilarating new concept created in collaboration with our global partner Football Business International (FBI). This exclusive experience gave our selected players from New Zealand the extraordinary opportunity to visit and train with three of the most prestigious clubs in European football for the current Champions League season: Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Girona FC. For these young athletes, it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience to step onto the training grounds of football giants and gain invaluable insights from top-tier clubs.
Throughout the tour, the players not only trained with these world-class teams but also participated in unique behind-the-scenes experiences. From tactical sessions to personalized coaching, they learned directly from the very best, absorbing the high-level techniques, strategies, and professional standards that define these elite clubs. For many of these players, this tour marked a major milestone in their football journey, offering a glimpse into the world of top-tier European football.
But this is just the beginning! WSS and Football Business International are already working on new and exciting projects for 2025. One of the most highly anticipated events will be our MIC Tournament participation, where players from the WSS selection will compete alongside Football Business International in one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in the world. Additionally, the Champions Lab Tour 2025 will return in September/October, expanding to include Atletico Madrid as a new addition to our lineup of top-tier clubs. This promises to be an even bigger and more impactful experience for our young athletes.
